Collaboration in Action: Education & Workforce panel

  • Columbus Convention Center 400 North High Street Columbus, OH, 43215 United States (map)

One of the best examples of collaboration Columbus has to offer is the work being done to align the offerings at Columbus State Community College with local business and industry needs. Manufacturing and logistics make up a significant portion of the labor force in and around Columbus. Columbus State has partnered with businesses such as Honda to better understand their needs and train students to meet them. In this panel, we will hear from leaders at both CSCC and Honda about how collaboration has resulted in a stronger workforce pipeline. Tulsa Community College President and CEO Dr. Leigh Goodson will moderate the panel.
